Arnedo, in constant development, offers a wide offer of services to its citizens and visitors. The Council has also enlarged the number of services and infrastructure offered to the citizens.

Industrial activity, specially the shoe industry, is the actual economic engine of Arnedo. Thanks to this development, our city has become the third in number of inhabitants in La Rioja, and the first in proportion of working population. This activity is complemented with others, such as rubber, cardboard, clothing and wine industries. Agriculture in Arnedo is mostly directed to self-consumption. Today, the inhabitants of Arnedo keep their relation with their land working on their fields in their spare time. That is the reason why their landscape shows irrigated lands full of huts. We must also remark the participation of the citizens in the social life of Arnedo joining the different associations.
